Lauantaina 6.6. nousemme yhdessä Puijon tornin huipulle, keskelle jylhien kuusien sylissä avautuvaa järvimaisemaa, kokemaan jotakin enemmän. Rise & Rave goes Puijo kutsuu sinut mukaansa eeppiselle, rytmiselle ja vapauttavalle musiikilliselle matkalle ylös näköalatasanteelle, taivaan alle. Annamme kehon herätä liikkeeseen siellä missä tuuli liikkuu latvoissa ja maisema avautuu joka suuntaan.

Illan aikana kuljemme yhdessä läpi elektronisen, pohjoismaisen ja luonnonläheisen äänimaailman — eeppisistä nousuista sykkeeseen, kevyestä kellumisesta voimakkaaseen vapaan tanssin virtaan. Tämä setti on täynnä voimaa sekä tunnetta, mutta myös tuttuja biisejä menneiden vuosien klubeilta. Puijon metsien yllä jokainen saa liikkua omalla tavallaan: sulkea silmät, hengittää syvään, tanssia, ravistaa, hymyillä, pysähtyä maisemaan.

Rise & Rave on syntynyt halusta luoda tiloja, joissa ihmiset saavat irrottautua arjesta, avata kehonsa liikkeelle ja kokea musiikin muutenkin kuin vain kuuntelemalla. Kyse ei ole siitä, miltä tanssi näyttää, vaan siltä miltä liike tuntuu.

Tapahtuman luojana ja oppaanasi toimii Johanna, Neljän tuulen tytär, joka rakentaa Rise & Rave -hetkistä kokonaisvaltaisia kokemuksia: tiloja, joissa musiikki, tunnelma, tila ja yhteisö sulautuu yhdeksi yhteiseksi matkaksi. Tapahtuma sisältää yhteisen aloitusvirittäytymisen sekä lopun rauhallisen maadoittumisen.

Paikkoja on rajoitetusti ja ilmoittautuminen on sitova. Säävarauksen vuoksi maksuohjeet lähetetään tapahtumaviikon maanantaina 1.6., jolloin maksu tulee hoitaa. Säävaraus: tapahtumaa ei järjestetä vesisateella tai jos tuuli on kova. Tässä tapauksessa tapahtuma siirretään, ja jos uusi ajankohta ei sovi, maksu palautetaan.

HYVÄ TIETÄÄ ENNEN TAPAHTUMAA

Tarvitseeko osata tanssia?

Ei tarvitse. Rise & Rave perustuu vapaaseen liikkeeseen ja oman kehon kuunteluun. Voit liikkua juuri niin kuin sinusta hyvältä tuntuu.

Voinko osallistua yksin?

Ehdottomasti. Moni saapuu tapahtumiin myös yksin, ja mukaan saa tulla täysin omana itsenään ilman suorituspaineita.

Onko tapahtuma päihteetön?

Kyllä.

Millainen tunnelma tapahtumassa on?

Tapahtumassa kunnioitetaan jokaisen omaa tilaa ja tapaa olla mukana. Saat tanssia, hengittää, havainnoida tai välillä vain pysähtyä maisemaan. Kohtaamme toisemme ilman arvostelua.

Saako tapahtuman aikana kuvata?

Toivomme, että jokainen saa keskittyä omaan kokemukseensa mahdollisimman läsnäolevasti. Siksi puhelimet pidetään sivussa tapahtuman ajan, ja kuvata voi tapahtuman päätyttyä.

Pitääkö jaksaa tanssia koko 2,5h?

Ei tarvitse. Voit pitää taukoja tarpeen mukaan.

Millainen varustus mukaan?

Suosittelemme säänmukaista, mukavaa ja liikkumiseen sopivaa vaatetusta. Voit tanssia paljain varpain tai kengillä. Pinta on melko liukaspintaista betonia. Näköalatasanteella olemme taivaan alla, joten lattiapinta ei ole täydin puhdas. Varauduthan myös tuuleen.

Onko tasanteella narikkaa?

Ei ole. Kassin voi jättää tanssitilan laidalle tai DJ:n läheisyyteen. Liikut tavaroinesi omalla vastuulla.

Entä jos sää on huono?

Tapahtuma järjestetään säävarauksella. Mikäli sääolosuhteet eivät mahdollista miellyttävää kokemusta, tiedotamme osallistujille mahdollisista muutoksista hyvissä ajoin.

Onko tapahtumapaikalla palveluita?

Kyllä. Torniravintola palvelee 22.30 saakka. Tarjolla maistuva lähiruokamenu. WC:t on käytettävissä. Ota mukaan oma vesipullo!

RISE & RAVE GOES PUIJO

A journey between earth and sky

On Saturday, June 6th, we rise together to the top of Puijo Tower, surrounded by majestic spruce forests and sweeping lake views, to experience something beyond the ordinary.

Rise & Rave goes Puijo invites you on an epic, rhythmic and liberating musical journey up to the observation deck, beneath the open sky.

We let the body awaken into movement where the wind moves through the treetops and the landscape opens endlessly in every direction. Throughout the morning, we travel together through an electronic, Nordic and nature-inspired soundscape — from epic rises into pulsating rhythm, from weightless drifting into the powerful flow of free dance. This set is filled with both power and emotion, while elegantly weaving in familiar tracks and beloved club classics from past years.

Above the forests of Puijo, everyone is free to move in their own way: close your eyes, breathe deeply, dance, shake, smile, or simply pause to take in the view.

WHAT IS RISE & RAVE?

Rise & Rave was born from the desire to create spaces where people can step away from everyday life, open the body into movement, and experience music as something more than simply listening. It is not about what the dance looks like — it is about what the movement feels like.

Event creator and guide for this experience is Johanna, Daughter of the Four Winds, who builds each Rise & Rave gathering into a holistic journey: a space where music, atmosphere, environment and community merge into one shared experience. The event includes a shared opening attunement to awaken the body, as well as a calm grounding at the end.

Price includes tower entrance fee.

Places are limited and registration is binding. Due to the weather reservation, payment instructions will be sent on Monday, June 1st during the event week, and payment must then be completed. Weather reservation: the event will not be held in heavy rain or strong wind conditions. In this case, the event will be rescheduled, and if the new date does not suit you, your payment will be refunded.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE THE EVENT

Do I need to know how to dance?

Not at all. Rise & Rave is based on free movement and listening to your own body. You may move exactly in the way that feels good to you.

Can I join alone?

Absolutely. Many participants arrive on their own, and you are welcome exactly as you are, without any performance pressure.

Is the event sober?

Yes.

What is the atmosphere like?

At Rise & Rave, we respect each person’s personal space and individual way of participating. You may dance, breathe, observe, or simply pause to absorb the scenery. We meet one another without judgment.

Can I take photos during the event?

We hope everyone can stay as present as possible in their own experience. For this reason, phones are kept aside during the event, and photos may be taken after the gathering has ended.

Do I need to dance the full 2.5 hours?

No. You are free to take breaks whenever needed.

What should I wear?

We recommend weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing suitable for movement. You may dance barefoot or with shoes. The floor surface is fairly slippery concrete, and because we are outdoors under the open sky, the ground is not perfectly clean. Please also prepare for wind.

Is there a cloakroom on the deck?

No. You may leave your bag at the edge of the dance area or near the DJ. Personal belongings are carried at your own responsibility.

What if the weather is bad?

The event is weather dependent. If weather conditions do not allow for a pleasant experience, we will inform all participants of possible changes well in advance.

Are there services available at the venue?

Yes. The restaurant is open throughout the event until 22.30 PM, offering their popular local food menu. Toilets are available. Bring your own water bottle!
